How Acne Happens
Acne is a skin condition that occurs when the small pores become plugged with oil, dirts, dead skin cells and bacteria. The stagnation of the oil flow allows the growth of bacteria, known as Propionibacterium acne (P. Acne), which rapidly multiply by using sebum as a source of fuel. As a result, waste substance known as free fatty acid released by the bacteria is extremely irritating to the skin, resulting in skin redness, pus, pain and swelling. The body tries to stop inflammatory process, but ends up damaging the skin, which accounts for the scarring seen in some types of acne.

Ingredient Highlights
BHA/Salicylic Acid

A derivative of azelaic acid, it balances sebum production, prevents excess oiliness, targets acne-casuing bacteria, and soothes the skin, helping to reduce acne breakouts for a healthier complexion.
Witch Hazel/Hamamelis Virginiana Extract
Controlling and removing excessive oil to prevent breakouts.
Centella Asiatica Extract/CICA

Direction to Use
